Comments: After releasing this on tape late the previous year, Ocean decide to bring it out again for the all those lovely new 64GS owners. Like there were plenty of them now! Still the game is rather decent given the talent being used, a good mix of platform action and arcade type joystick dexterity.

Comments: The Amiga game showed it could be translated for the mighty C64. See filled in vector graphics that actually move reasonably fast! See some proper strategy action in the only Ocean game I believe really does the cartridge format justice. Just make sure you pick up a copy with all the instructions.

Comments: Another of the early Ocean conversion cartridges, this was done by the same team that later did Super Monaco GP. An average game at that, it had that unexplainable feel of being a little loose when playing.

Comments: It has now come to my attention that this is not the same game as released two years earlier by Melbourne House, but instead a reprogrammed effort. This was a strange choice for Ocean's last cartridge, and the game isn't any better or worse than the previous version. The only thing of note is due to the fact it was only available at a computer show, it isn't at all easy to find.

Comments: After working on Untouchables, John Meegan was assigned to create a game of the movie. Crap movie, great game. Some beautiful graphics and music hide a very high difficulty level, in that one shot kills your men. Work your way around defusing the Stinger missiles and then try to escape from Beirut. Great interlevel pictures compliment the package as a whole.

Comments: Not a widely known arcade game until the conversion made more of a name for it. Travel all over the globe, seeing exciting new locations and then blowing up a load of balls. Only the Japanese. Still, the graphics are bright and colourful, and sound is funky and catchy as you dodge the bouncers.

Comments: Rather a different game to the one Ocean had produced for the first in the series. This was more of a platform collecting game with some shooting bits thrown in. Graphics were very colourful, and when I say that, I mean that. Definitely quite unlike a typical Robocop film! The instant access made the game more playable than it would be otherwise because it is rather hard and tricky.

Comments: Whereas this game was a little more back on track regarding attention to detail and actually following the plot of the film closely. Though there are probably more people who have played the game than watched the film! Graphically diverse over all 5 stages with a great title tune and effects, and tough difficulty to begin with ensure this is a good cartridge to get for players and collectors.

Comments: Probably one of the most ambitious projects for the C64, only possible because of the cartridge technology, otherwise the loading times would be too extreme. Stays pretty faithful to the Amiga original and probably makes for a better game in some ways as it was lower in price and hype.

Comments: Released on cartridge some months after appearing on other formats, this was last official Ocean cartridge release (until Double Dragon). Hence it is not that easy to find. All you get is the instant access, no extra screens sadly. Still it is the best version as the loading times are a bit on the long side. Good graphics and sound add to the game trail laid by Operation Wolf years before.

Comments: Also came with graphics and music packages on the same cartridge. The game itself is well presented with interlevel screens and updates based upon the film. Graphically bold and well animated, with film based music and effects. Each section is like a minigame, and would be entertaining for a while on its own. Together they make the whole game a decent package.

Comments: Can't say I had heard of the arcade in question until Ocean announced they were making a conversion. It is the usual platform rescue the girl situation but your monkey has a few power-ups hidden in his fur to use. Big colourful sprites abound in a game that does benefit from the cartridge instant access. It isn't that easy either, which should give gamers enough to get their teeth into.
